Learn to Sew! - Tote Bags
October 16
(Saturday)

Do you know how to use your sewing machine and want to try some new projects? In this class we will make an 18” x 18” tote bag. These work great for trick or treat bags!

These bags work for shopping, projects or carrying around all your stuff! Once you understand the basics of how to make the bag you can adjust the size as you wish.

You will need know how to use a sewing machine (thread the machine, load the bobbin and how to do straight stitching). A supply list will be provided 1 week before the class date.

Sewing machines are available for rental for $5 from the instructor. Kits with all supplies (fabric, fusible fleece, straps, and fusible seam tape) to make 2 bags (1 in class and 1 later) will be available from the instructor for $20.

Printed instructions will be provided to take home. Questions? Contact the instructor at hopkinsce@gmail.com
